Welcome! My name is Brett and I am a one-man handyman service provider. I am a semi-retired contractor now offering basic handyman repairs and replacements of all those things on your honey-do list.
As a mid 60’s fella, my main focus is on small jobs - the endless little things that need repair or replacement. While I have done many full kitchen and bath remodels, that is no longer my focus. If you’re unsure if I’m the right guy, simply call or send me an email detailing what you need done and I'll let you know if I can do it properly.
At the bottom of this page you will find a non-exhaustive list of what I do and what I don’t do, along with the typical cost to repair/replace.
About Me: I’m that “Jack of all trades” guy that can do nearly everything and do it well - while also understanding not everyone has the budget for the highest quality work (ex: repairs on rental units.) Safety, however, is always number one. No shortcuts there.
What I Offer: I have versatile skills and knowledge to offer homeowners who need work and repairs around the home. I’ve remodeled homes from top to bottom, with skills and experience generally above average. I'm good at problem solving and yet I know when to draw the line and say it's time to call a specialist. I can do nearly everything in a home, from painting, drywall repair, basic electrical and plumbing, doors, windows, flooring, etc.
We love working with Property Managers!
If you have a singular repair needed, such as installing a backsplash, installing vinyl plank flooring or replacing a door, I am more than happy to give you a quote.
Most often, however, I get calls from folks with a “honey-do list” of items they need fixing/repairing and it doesn’t pay to quote for every single little item, especially when they keep adding to the list while I’m there! For those jobs, I simply charge by the hour. I have a mobile phone app that keeps track of my time to the minute.
Minimum Job: $200
Hourly Rate: $100/hr (after 4 hrs, the hourly rate drops to $80/hr)
NOTE: Prices are labor only, materials are additional. A travel fee may apply for jobs more than a 30 min drive away from the Spokane Arena area.

“Hourly/Min” indicates jobs that typically take me less than 2 hrs and thus fall under my $200 minimum if that is the only item I have been called to repair.

Testimonials
“Brett was fantastic to work with. He took care of multiple jobs for me, both big and small, and handled each one with the same level of care and efficiency. He’s reliable, trustworthy, and quick - the kind of handyman who can truly do it all. I really appreciated how easy he made the whole process, and I’ll absolutely call on him again for future projects.” Myca F.
“Brett is the gold standard - professional, knowledgeable, responsive and easy to work with! He’s done a variety of complex home renovations/upgrades for me over the years — installed complicated shelves using a laser device, completed plumbing work, changed locks, installed a 4-foot large lighted mirror, hardwired light fixtures, etc. He’s done everything competently and quickly – I’m amazed at his level of competence and excellence. I don’t think there’s anything he can’t do! Brett has vast knowledge about construction and his photography background has come in handy for me because he has good taste. I have no hesitation in highly recommending Brett — he’s one in a million and always has the client in mind!” - Karen M.
